Sci-Fi Angel, my first game character which design was influenced by Yuichiro Fujita & Yakun Wang (links below). Rendered in Unreal, I planned the entire process from concept, modelling, texturing, rigging and animation.
Learnt a lot about this project, for game production. Struggled with the haircuts but manage to work it out. It was still a fun experience regardless. Character is under 70k polygons.
Model: Hard surface were mostly made in Maya, this includes the wings, armour and cybernetics. The Organic parts were made in Zbrush with the high res model done there as well.
Rig: Start using the Art Tool in Maya to create a base rig and controls. Re-edit the entire body rig to match body type and add additional Driven Keys to help group move. Wings rig had to be built from scratch and set driven keys to create some fix poses for common use.
Thanks again for checking my work out!
